Why BinRates Exists

This all started when I was looking for a dumpster rental, but got lost navigating google search. Too many ads for nationwide services that didn't actually service my Portland area. So we built this. Prices and details checked monthly so you're always in the know and can shop accordingly. Have fun and good luck with your job.

What that actually means

When you search for a dumpster, the first results are usually national lead-brokers. You fill out a form, your number gets sold to three or four companies, and your phone rings for a week. Half of those callers don't even service your zip code — they just bought your info.

BinRates is the opposite of that. We list real, local haulers by city, with an honest price range for each dumpster size so you know roughly what you're walking into before you call anyone. The ranges are aggregated market estimates — not made-up numbers, and never dressed up as a quote we can't actually honor.

Checked monthly — and labeled honestly

Every city's listings get reviewed on a monthly cadence. That's what the "Data last checked" tag on each page means: the date we last went through that city's prices, operators, and links. It is a freshness check — not a promise that every single price is guaranteed. When a specific hauler price has actually been confirmed with that company, you'll see a separate green "✓ Verified with hauler" badge with the date. Two different tags, on purpose, because they mean two different things.

How we make money — and how we don't

We don't sell your contact info. Where a local operator has their own website, we just point you straight to them and step out of the way. In some cities a single local hauler sponsors the page as the featured operator. That's it. We are not a go-between standing between you and your dumpster.

Today BinRates covers 11 cities across 9 states, and we're adding more as we verify local pricing. If you run a dumpster company and want your city covered, list your business here. If you're a homeowner or contractor just trying to get a bin dropped — find your city and good luck with the job.
